What’s in your bar

A single-origin craft-chocolate bar made with the earth in mind. Discover more.

This is the best milk chocolate we have ever made, and what an elegant dark-milk chocolate should be — smooth and rich, without compromising on milk content. It is neither sweet nor bitter, but creamy and cacao-forward, lifted by natural vanilla notes.

Innovation plays a key part in the development of this bar – including using a new ‘crumbing’ method and the use of the Maillard effect to introduce a delicate caramel note – with our focus on achieving a milk chocolate with higher milk and lower sugar content.

The name Darksome comes from an old English word describing something that is becoming darker — a fitting reflection of its balanced character and a reimagining of what dark-milk chocolate can be.
